Personal Note and Events: I’m a firm believer in being a life-long learner. I truly believe the moment I stop learning, will be the day I’m laid to rest. I was supposed to travel to Texas this week to partake in Inkers. Con; a conference for authors. Thankfully, the organizers of the event had enough time to pull together a digital conference, so I’ve spent hours watching seminars, participating in Zoom meetings and filling my head with all sorts of new information. Yes, I wish it could’ve been in person, but at least I’m still learning. One nice thing about videos, is I’m able to pause and put to use this new learning immediately.
We are just now entering phase 2 where I live, but school (distance learning) will be out in two weeks. As much as I love my kids being life-long learners, I have to admit, I’m looking forward to summer break. Can any of your parents relate? Do you have plans for summer vacation?
Even though we won’t be going anywhere, we have some projects we’d like to complete when the weather turns nice. My girls are begging me to repaint their rooms and do a few projects I’ve had on our “when I get around to it” list.
Please remember there are two events going on right now with my books, The first is listed above, the second is my BOGO on B&N. All my e-books are buy one, get one 50% off for a limited time. All you have to do is use the code: BNPASHELLEY50 when you check out.
One last thing before I go, I’m dying to know what’s your favorite book in the Just a Lick Anthology. I haven’t had time to read it yet, but I’ll start with the books you recommend first. Reply to email@example.com to let me know your top choices. I’m looking forward to some summer reading. If you haven’t read the anthology yet, tell me tell me a book you think everyone should read. I’m an avid reader too, and love finding new to me authors.
Take Care, ~ Amanda
